Paneer moille dosa was the standout item! So delicious. But pretty spicy so keep that in mind. Very different and tasty. Loved all the chutneys as well, they had some unique ones like the peanut chutney. Also liked the papadi chaat. Ordered for home delivery so not sure about service or ambiance at the restaurant. But the food is so good that we will make the trip.

Chutneys is a casual fusion Indian restaurant featuring creative twists on traditional Indian dishes. Inside the restaurant is clean and standard but has some unique chandeliers above. Service was swift with the waiter seating us and taking our order quickly. On to the food! We first ordered the Sambar Vada, which was crunchy and warm. We also got an assortment of chutneys from tomato, a minty cilantro, and another that tasted like peanut. It was fun to try the Vada with all the chutneys and Sambar. For the fusion item we ordered the Paneer Moilee Dosa. Just from first impressions I loved how it was cut, the diamond like shapes made the dosa so much easier to eat and share. It was stuffed with Paneer so every bite was even better. Coupled with the chutneys and sambar from before it tasted delicious. If I were to nitpick the only minor suggestion I would have would be to simplify the menu or make the fusion choices more prominent. The menu had a lot going on, but thankfully yelp made it easier to find the unique items! Overall a great place to checkout when craving Indian food with both north and south flavors combined.

I visited this place only for thatte idli as I really wanted to try some. And, it wasn't disappointing. The idli could have been softer but the chutneys and sambhar were good. The servers need to be a bit more attentive to the customers. The restaurant was clean and hygienic.

We ended up coming here for a quick lunch and this place is great for Indian South Indian fusion foods! The ambiance here was nice and service was fast. Once we sat down we ended up ordering: * paneer moilee dosa - this was actually really delicious in a way we were not expecting. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and all the sauces which were fresh * vada - these was yummy and super crunchy and went well with the Sambar and the different sauces! * masala dosa - this was delicious and came with a nice potato stuffing. I wish it was a little crispier though * aloo paratha - we like how this was not super oily but it was good. The stuffing I wish there was more, but overall it was nice and flavorful Overall the food was yummy but the standouts were definitely the fusion foods - the paneer moilee dosa!

Very mindful service, amazing & friendly ambiance! Each item was served piping hot, and they didn't serve everything in one go, instead waited for us to finish each dish and had planned it accordingly to serve the next dish hot to our table when we are ready to eat it!! Something which is missing in most restaurants in Bay Area! That we had been debating about for a decade almost now! They nailed it!!
